Question 1 : Sir can I still get my profile code using a sim that was not registered with my NIN details?
*Answer* : YES and NO, SOME candidates send their nin with phone numbers registered by parents and siblings and Get an error code while others don’t get an error code. So you can try it out and see if it works for you,
BUT IT IS PREFERRED AND ADVICED YOU SEND YOUR NIN USING A PHONE NUMBER YOU REGISTERED BY YOURSELF
Question 2 : Sir, After I sent my NIN to 55019 or 66019, I got this message from jamb invalid character found.
Answer 2 : Ensure that there is space between NIN and the numbers. Do not use double spacing as that can as well cause the problem.
Question 3 : When I send my NIN to JAMB it says it has been used on another number
Answer 3 : If you wrote jamb last year and your nin has been used on another sim, you can still re-use that sim to get your profile code. If a new sim is unresponsive.
Question 4. Sir, I keep getting failed to verify nin what can I do?
Answer 4. When you get this it’s mostly a network problem turn on and off your cell phone.
Question 5 . Sir, It’s showing no NIN record found ?
Answer 5: This is because you recently registered with Nimc a few days before trying to get the profile code, so relax and keep trying. But if you have registered a long time ago visit the nearest Nimc center and complain.
Question 6. Sir, I am getting Invalid Passport as the response ?
Answer 6. The reason is jamb can’t get a clear picture of your passport, so go to the nearest Nimc center and complain
Question 7: Sir, It’s saying name missing in my NIN What should I do ?.
Answer 7. Exercise patience !. Try it the next dayIf this problem still persists, please visit the nearest Nimc CENTRE.
Question 8. Sir, it is showing date of birth Invalid error What Should I do ?
Answer 8: Actually this means you’re below the age required to write Jamb, what you should is wait till you are older or go to an Nimc center for age correction.
Question 9 : Sir, the response I’m getting is NIN already used by another candidate ?
Answer 9. If you’re sure that you personally have used this sim before then send RESEND TO 55019 OR 66019, BUT if it wasn’t you then, Try with another sim, if you get such response repeatedly.
Question 10: Sir, must I use the same simcard I provided during NIN registration, to generate my jamb profile code?
Answer 10: No and yes !. You can use any sim to send your nin to 55019 or 66019 just make sure that you’ll always have access to the sim for future purposes.If the error message you’re getting isn’t part of those above send an email directly to JAMB OR NIMC.JAMB
